On Jan. 4, a bomb cyclone hit parts of California, causing heavy rain and flooding.

The cyclone damaged or destroyed several homes and buildings, making it hard for people to survive the harsh weather or to also buy the necessary items needed to get through the event.

People are now spending time refurbishing and rebuilding their homes and stores, specifically due to the aftermath of the cyclone.

The flooding that occurred caused a great deal of damage, overflowing rivers and streams. Flooding has also caused large traffic backups for people, making it extremely difficult to travel.
