Rivalry match ups: 

• Washington Commanders go against the Dallas Cowboys in week seven. The strong defense of the Cowboys led to many setbacks for the Commanders. The swift and strong offense helped the Cowboys win, causing the Commanders to lose with a score of 22-44.
• Washington Commanders go to Mo. to go against the Kansas City Chiefs in the eighth week of the NFL. In the first few minutes, both teams have a few interceptions, but the Chiefs push through with more interceptions and good defense to overcome and win with a final score of 28-7.
• The Bears go to Md. to play the Ravens in the eighth week of the NFL. With the Ravens starting off a little slow, the defense decided to turn things around and stop multiple plays from the Bears and overcome their defense. After the first quarter, the Ravens pushed through with great and smart offensive plays and held on to their strong defense to end the game with a win of 30-16 beating the Bears on Md. ground.
• Kansas City Chiefs go to Las Vegas to play the Raiders in week seven of the NFL and come out with a big blowout win with a final score of 31-0.
• The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals go head to head in week seven of the NFL with a close game ending in the result of Bengals winning 33-31.
• Philadelphia Eagles go to Minn. to go against the Vikings beating them 28-22 on Vikings home ground in week seven of the NFL.
• Eagles travel to Dallas to go against the Cowboys beating them 20-38 on Cowboys home ground in week eight of the NFL.
• Packers go against the Steelers in week eight of the NFL and beat the Steelers 35-25.
• The Browns and Patriots go against each other ending up in a Patriots win with the final score of 13-32 on Patriots ground in week eight of the NFL.
• The Giants travel to Pa. to go against the Eagles in the eighth week, but the Eagles come out with the win ending the score with 20-38 on the Giants.  Titans and Colts compete against each other, resulting with the Colts winning 14-38 in week eight of the NFL.
  Buccaneers travel to New Orleans to go against the Saints and come out with the win on Saints grounds ending the match with 23-3 in week eight or the NFL.

Notable injuries: 

• Lamar Jackson, Ravens quarterback, has been out with a hamstring injury but was back for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. He is expected to return tonight when the Ravens take on the Miami Dolphins.
• Jayden Daniels, Commanders quarterback, is out for a hamstring injury. He will not be back to play against Kansas City in week eight of the NFL.
• Deebo Samuel, wide receiver for the 49ers, is out with a heel injury from week seven and it is still unknown when he will be back.
• Maxx Crosby, defensive end for the Raiders, is out with a knee injury but should be back after bye week.
• J.J. McCarthy, quarterback for the Vikings, is out with an ankle injury and will not be back for the game against the Chargers in week eight. He is rumored to be back for the game against the Lions in week nine of the NFL.

Significant suspensions:

• Brian Branch, defensive back for the Lions, is suspended and won’t be back until week nine of the NFL against the Vikings. He is suspended for starting a postgame brawl against one of the Chiefs wide receivers, JuJu Smith-Schuster, by striking him after the final play of the game.
• Rashee Rice, wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, is back for week seven of the NFL after being suspended for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
• Dre Greenlaw, linebacker for the Broncos, is still out and will stay out until their game against the Texans in week nine of the NFL.
